We lost a Lotawana great. Chris was a huge piece of this lake community, both personally and professionally, Lake Lotawana was the only place he ever wanted to call home. Many of you knew him as Chris the plumber, sat next to him on one of the 3 boards that he served on, knew him from being the best softball dad, or if you were lucky enough, from some of the best G block times on his front porch and in the garage. Chris leaves behind his wonderful and supportive wife Rachel, and his amazing daughter Addie. Addie is just starting her second year of college this year, making her daddy proud and playing some damn good ball.
If you had the pleasure of knowing Chris, you know he was a lover and a giver. Its our time to give back, to the two ladies he loved the most. We are throwing a bash, Langer style, both to show our support of his family, and to raise a few bucks to help ease some burdens.
Join us at Lotawana Brewing Company on September 13th at 2pm. In true Langer fashion, we'll be doing a good old fashioned back yard BBQ! We'll provide the food (feel free to pot luck), a drain the keg event and drink specials to raise some bucks...you provide some good stories, memories and donations to the family.
Dress code is Chris casual, meaning you better wear your best tank top and visor, and a big smile to match his. A short crew cut for extra bonus points. Its just a few short weeks away, so ya better bust out those dumbells and start pumping some iron to show off those guns.💪
