The Friends of Blue River are hosting a bimonthly farmers market on the west side of the Blue River Park adjacent to East Street/County Highway T, near the gazebo.
The farmers markets will be held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, starting on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, and running through Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 4:00 PM-6:30 PM.
This is the organization’s ongoing effort to bring activities to the community. It is hoped that the farmers markets will benefit both the visitors as well as the local vendors.
The Friends of Blue River will be having a hot dog stand during the events. Proceeds from their stand will be used to continue the renovation activities at the community building.
Interested in being a vendor? Contact Kitty Boarts, (608) 571-7178. Venders will need abide by the Wisconsin Cottage Food Law. Vendors will not be charged a fee to set up a stand at the farmers market, but a donation to the Friends of Blue River would be accepted.
In the event of a cancellation of a farmers market, notification will be placed on WRCO and on the Friends of Blue River Facebook page.
