All Ages Wisconsin Bats Nature Program

From crime fighting caped-crusader to bloody-thirsty vampires, BATS have always elicited strong responses in the human psyche, but what is the truth about these mysterious nocturnal creatures?

Join WI Bat Ambassadors Makeela Magomolla and Mark Sturnick for an evening bat program at Blue Mound State Park. This includes an indoor presentation at the Friends Shelter on Wisconsin bats followed by an evening bat walk outside on the Blue Mound State Park property. Learn about bats of Wisconsin, conservation, and acoustic surveying.

Please dress for the weather, wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Please bring bug repellent and a headlamp with a red light (optional). All ages are welcome! Meet at the Friends Shelter.
