Typewriter Poetry Pop-Up Shop at Bobzbay Books featuring JustMyTypewriter!

Looking for a sweet daytime date idea? August 9th is Bookstore Romance Day...and what better way to celebrate love, romance, and the written word than with poetry?! Grab your loved ones and join us at the bookstore from 9am-12pm for a pop-up shop with JustMyTypewriter, who will be on-site selling typewritten & custom poems written on (..you guessed it..) typewriters!

Local poets will be present to write custom poems on the spot as well as sell prepared poems. Customers will also have the opportunity to type their own personal poems on a typewriter!

PLUS! We'll have a cute display of romance books inspired by our favorite downtown businesses and will be fully stocked on "Blind Date" books and romance books of all sweetness & spice levels!

From pop-ups to writing events and even festivals and weddings, we bring poems to life through the nostalgia of real-life typewriters. You can make it yourself or have us make it for you! Local poets will be present, writing poetry and selling their already-typed poems. We also offer the opportunity for people of all ages to type their own poetry on high-quality paper of their choice--and scratch paper, of course!"
