Makerspace Day: Art Through the Ages

Looking for something to do on November 4th for Edina's out of school day? Come to A2D Academy and play with your friends, make cool stuff, and play at Edinborough Park!

Spend the day creating Cave Paintings to Funny Faces with Picasso to Graffiti Art! Students will use all their artist abilities making their own art! In the afternoon students will have self-directed learning time in which they can create to their hearts content in the STEAM Lab using Maker Space Supplies.

Here's the schedule:
8:00-9:00 Drop Off & Free Choice
9:00-9:30 Group Game
9:30-10:30 Activity 1
10:30-11:15- Snack
11:15-12:00 Activity 2
12:00-12:30 Lunch
12:30-1:30 Edinborough Park/ Outside
1:30-2:00 Mindfulness & Group Game
2:00-3:00 Activity 3
3:00-3:15 Snack
3:15-4:00 Edinborough Park/Outside
4:00-5:00 Maker Space Time

Here are some details:
*** The theme is Art Through the Ages
*** Lunch is provided (Pancakes, Bacon/Sausage, Fruit & Veggie). You are also welcome to bring your own lunch (peanut free please!) Snacks will be provided by A2D, but you are free to bring your own snacks as well!
*** Ages Kindergarten- 5th grade
*** It cost $80 for the day for your child to attend & there is a 20% discount for siblings. $40 is required for a deposit and then the rest will be charged the week prior to the event.
