FREE BULK WASTE PICKUP
The City’s Fall 2025 FREE Bulk Waste Pickup will run October 6-17.
--- For the vast majority of Founders’ Grove, your free day will be Wednesday, October 8.
--- For those living on the east side of Mercer, your free day should be Tuesday, October 14.
Visit www.cityblm.org/solidwaste to be taken to a map which you should check for yourself to confirm that the dates stated above are correct. Pickup dates may be adjusted, depending on the amount of material set out for collection, weather, and other factors.

Don’t want to wait? …
The Citizen Convenience Center is a location where Solid Waste Program customers can drop off their materials instead of waiting for curbside pickup. The service is provided at no additional charge for all acceptable materials except for clean concrete, rock, shingles, and brick, which have an additional fee. The facility is located at 402 S. East Street (on the corner of East and Jackson, south of the Bloomington Public Library). At this time, the Citizen Convenience Center is closed on Sundays, Mondays, and municipal holidays.
