1. The tournament is open to all adult sanctioned bowlers who are in good standing with the USBC and are currently sanctioned with USBC.
2. The entry fee will be $50/bowler; $11 lineage, $6.50 expenses (awards + admin), $2.50 toward the Invitational, and $30 for the tournament prize fund. Payout will be 1:4 entries.
3. Check-in will begin at 6:30pm. Practice will begin promptly at 7:00pm, with tournament play starting at 7:10pm.
4. Lane assignments will be randomized and posted prior to the event.
5. Handicap is 80% of 220 per bowler. Bowlers will use their tournament average for all Ebonite Shootouts bowled starting 8/1/2022 (minimum 12 games). If no tournament average, bowlers will use their high USBC average for the 2024-2025 season. Tournament Director reserves the right to rerate any bowler should he deem necessary.
6. All bowlers will bowl 3 games of qualifying, moving each game. After 3 games, the field will cut in half to a maximum of 12 teams. The remaining teams will bowl 6 baker games, moving each game. There will be no match play following the conclusion of the last baker game. **FOR THE FINAL STANDINGS, TEAMS WILL COUNT ONLY THEIR 9 BEST GAMES BOWLED DURING THE EVENT!**
7. Brackets and action pots will be available. Individual brackets are $5 each, and begin in game 1. All action will have handicap and scratch divisions. ALL BRACKET AND SIDE POT MONEY MUST BE PICKED UP PRIOR TO LEAVE THE TOURNAMENT. We will not mail/send money that is not claimed at the end of the event.
8. If at any point during the tournament, a bowler is unable to finish, they will not be given a refund, and will receive zeros for the remainder of the frames/games.
9. All bowlers entering this tournament are to follow USBC rules. All decisions made by the tournament manager are FINAL. All other USBC rules will apply.
