Annual Gathering of Gratitude

Please join us and invite friends and colleagues to the Bloomington Multi-Faith Alliance's traditional gratitude gathering on Tuesday, December 2nd from 5:45 to 7:30 PM at the Islamic Center of Bloomington. We will break bread together, hear from an expert on how to cultivate our own gratitude, and reflect in small groups on Dr. Wong’s thought-provoking insights.

About the talk by IU’s Dr. Joel Wong, author of the website “Gratitude for Life”:

"Many people desire to be grateful but struggle with how to begin. In this talk, Joel will unpack seven foundational principles, rooted in both empirical research, theological insights, and philosophical thought, for living gratefully, Joel will discuss both practical tips that can be applied immediately to one’s life, along with broader perspectives on how we relate to a higher power, other people, and ourselves. Ultimately these seven principles are about who we are and who we aspire to be."
