Garet&Co Presents "Nostalgia"

On November 23rd at 2pm, Garet&Co will be presenting “Nostalgia,” a collection of works dissecting the complexity of feeling homesick for memories that are fading away, for relationships that will never be the same, and for places we once called home that no longer exist. The show will start and end with large, emotionally charged pieces: the first exploring a feeling of grief and loss; the final piece exploring a sense of acceptance despite the loss that is felt. In between these larger works, Garet&Co will present works in a chronological way, starting with a piece depicting the incredible beauty of new life, followed by works about childhood, siblings, parents, moving away from home, best friends, and first loves, ending with a work depicting the love and acceptance for the people who raised us before heading into to the final piece.

We are thrilled to be presenting “Nostalgia” as our first full-company show of our fifth anniversary season! It feels only fitting to be delving into works revolving around this theme as we celebrate five years of Garet&Co’s existence, and reminisce about all of the incredible work we’ve done to bring us to where we are today. We can’t wait to celebrate with you on 11/23!
