"Facing the Wind" Free Film Screening

The public is invited to a free documentary film screening of Facing the Wind on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 3:30-5:00 p.m. Over 7 million Americans have dementia and that includes 1.4 million with Lewy Body Dementia (LBD), a common but lesser-known dementia. Increasing awareness of LBD is essential to improve diagnosis and treatment options. Where do you turn when a mysterious dementia is stealing the love of your life? The film is about love, life and dementia. After the film attendees will have time for questions and answers with Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Dementia Care Specialist, Carla Berscheit. Registration is required, please call the library at 715-568-2384 to reserve your spot. The film including free pizza, popcorn and water is sponsored by the Chippewa County Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC).
