Grab a friend and join us for some festive fun, at our end-of-year Star Relay π at Pollard Park at 5.30pm Wednesday 10 December.
A Star Relay is a very social event, testing your nav skills under pressure, and how well you really know your teammate! Teams of two - either make up a team or join up with someone on the night. One map shared between each team.
Mass start. The first team members navigate to their first control site and places a marker (small white plastic stick with a unique number on it) at the control site. You then navigate back to the start and hand the map over to your teammate who then has to locate the marker and collect it, before navigating to the next control site.
This continues until all the control sites are visited - and because each team starts at a different control, we won't know who the winners are until the very end!
Control features will be easy peasy but you will need to be careful where you place it so that your teammate can find it. Look for our MOC elves out on the course, spreading some Xmas cheer!
Dress up in some fun and cheerful clothing. Show us what you've got.
Mass start at 6pm @ Pollard Park.
Entries close 9pm Sunday 7 December.
