Homestead Butchery Class in Blanchardville

The lambs on pasture are looking absolutely gorgeous and so it’s time to announce our Annual Homestead Butchery class! If you want to learn how to humanely slaughter, butcher, cut and wrap a lamb - this is your chance to work side-by-side with instruction from a farmer and a butcher here at Circle M.

These are small intimate classes (no more than 14 people, working in pairs) on a working farm. This is the perfect opportunity for a foodie or farmer to get familiar with sustainable, humane practices and understand what goes into raising and harvesting meat on a homestead scale. On the second day, you will take home your whole lamb in wrapped cuts. Cost for both days, including lunch, is $600. There will be a second class Nov 15+16.
