Tambra Dixon is the Vice President of Philanthropy & Strategic Growth at Warm Hearth Village, a senior living community in Blacksburg, Virginia. Over her 25-year tenure, she has been instrumental in driving the organization’s success across marketing, philanthropy, strategic development and the expansion of retail operation
With a passion for advancing senior advocacy and care, Tambra is part of a skilled team that drives Warm Hearth’s mission to be a visionary leader in aging services—both locally and beyond.
Her commitment to community service is reflected in leadership roles with organizations such as the Engagement Center for Creative Aging at Virginia Tech, United Way, LeadingAge Virginia, Boys & Girls Clubs of America and local 4-H programs.
A proud Hokie, Tambra earned her MBA from Virginia Tech in 2003. Her daughter, Abbey, followed in her footsteps, graduating with a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Virginia Tech in 2025.
