Lunch and Learn: Sustainable Forestry

Jason Rutledge, founder and current President of the Board of Directors of Healing Harvest Forest Foundation, a non-profit "tree-roots" organization, will teach us about restorative forestry and community-based sustainable forestry initiatives. Learn about the use of animal-powered (horse, mule, oxen) extraction of logs and “worst first” single tree selection of individual trees in timber harvesting.
