Experts Next Door: Lecture with Biologist Olivia Brooks

Experts Next Door is our lecture series highlighting experts in our community! These are academics, master crafters and other local smartypants.

October’s lecture comes from Olivia Brooks!

Dr. Brooks is a postdoctoral researcher at Virginia Tech studying the toxins found in poison-dart frogs. She'll be talking about how poison-dart frogs get their poisons, how they can resist these poisons, and how parent poison-dart frogs pass on their poisons to their tadpoles.
