Join us for another great bourbon dinner! The stars this evening will be: Colonel EH Taylor Barrel Proof, Bomberger's Declaration, New Riff Single Barrel, and Green River Wheated Cask Strength.
Dinner will start at 6:00pm and a there will be a welcome hour from 5:00-6:00. The event is reservation only. The food menu is being worked on and once we have that, we will be sure to posted. But until then...here's a brief description of the stars of the evening:
Colonel EH Taylor Barrel Proof- The taste is bold and full of spice that fills the mouth with a distinct flavor of toasty vanilla, dried oak and pepper.
Bomberger's Declaration- From master distiller Dick Stoll, this 108 proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon has notes of caramel, wet oak, sweet honey, and citrus zest on the nose. The palate is spicy with lightly charred oak, citrus, caramel sweetness. Smooth finish and an exceptional drink
New Riff Single Barrel- Broad, fulsome mouthfeel, leading to a sweeter vanilla accent, before a gathering of rye spices (clove, cinnamon, mint, dark berry) into the finish
Green River Wheated Cask Strength- Orange peel, apricot, and cinnamon are balanced by toffee and pastry. A honeyed, round mouthfeel with hints of hazelnut leads to a lasting finish of traditional Kentucky flavor
