So what IS GILIL Academy?
GILIL Academy is a free music outreach programme that offers young people the unique opportunity to gain an insight into the working music industry. We run a variety of programmes designed to give young people direct access to the music industry; opportunity to meet industry professionals, participate in music-making workshops with expert facilitators and learn more about future pathways into the music industry.

Do I need to know how to take professional photos?
Definitely not, in fact you don’t need any experience at all, just a passion for music or photography or ideally- both!

What are the folk at the Academy like?

Young people at the GILIL Academy Workshop will be a diverse group of music-lovers and photography enthusiasts between 13-17 who want to be the next game-changers of the music industry!
