🥾A local Lancashire challenge, the Witton Weavers Way is a 33-mile route (51km), from Blackburn, taking in Darwen Moor and the Jubilee tower, beautiful green valleys, picturesque reservoirs, historic villages, stunning views, and a variety of paths. With plenty undulation, the entire route has an elevation of approx. 4,775ft (1,455m)
😁We at Abigail's Trails are incredibly excited to be offering this fully-guided 1-day event. Instead of worrying about logistics and navigation, you will be free to enjoy spectacular views, great company and ultimately gain an incredible sense of achievement!
💪This is a proper challenge with at least 12 hours on your feet to cover this infamous long distance route!
1️⃣ We will begin the day from Witton Country Park heading in an anti-clockwise direction on this circular route and finishing at the same location.
👌This fully guided event will be led by qualified, experienced, local Mountain Leaders, who will support you along the way. As with all our guided walks, this event is designed to be friendly, relaxed and fun walking experience. You will, however, need a good base level of fitness, as this is a strenuous, hilly route on uneven footpaths and sometimes boggy terrain. Expect to be walking for 12 - 13 hours.
Tickets must be booked in advance and cost £42 per person.
