It's getting near to that time, when we all need to start thinking about our entries! The show takes place this year on Sunday 31st August and schedules and entry forms are already flying out of the One Stop shop, the butchers and the library.
I have attached this years schedule for you to look at. Please do let us know if you have any difficulty obtaining entry forms, they seem to be going really fast this year.
One last reminder, the village show is put together and run by volunteers. It's a lot of work but we do it willingly because we know you enjoy it. But we could do with some help. We need:
- Volunteers (preferably quite strong!) to help us put the tables up on the afternoon of Saturday 30th between 2-4pm.
- Ditto to help us put away the tables on Sunday 31st between 4.30-5.30 pm
- Volunteers who are willing to take entry money, sell raffle tickets or work in the café. With enough volunteers no one needs to do more than about 20 minutes.
- As always, we need CAKE. If you could make or buy us something to sell in the café that would be amazing.
