Canoeing Induction Session

Want to run your own Scout canoeing sessions from Canalside?

All groups who want to run self led sessions must complete this session annually. The session covers equipment, health and safety and group management and is run by British Caneing Paddlesport Instructors.

Scout volunteers must have paddling experience to run groups from Canalside and have completed this annual induction session. The Leeds Liverpool canal is designated a class C water.

For those who want to build up their paddling experience, we also run adult only canoeing sessions each Thursday evening from April to October.
