A392 "Push-in" Ceremony

Please join us for a special tradition as we welcome our new aid car, A392, into service with a Push-In Ceremony at Station 92. The event begins at 10:00 AM and will conclude around 11:00 AM.

All are welcome – community members, families, and friends.

About Push-In Ceremonies: The push-in ceremony is a time-honored fire service tradition that dates back to the 1800s. Before the advent of motorized fire apparatus, crews used hand-drawn or horse-drawn equipment. After returning from a call, firefighters would clean their gear and physically push it back into the station bay. Today, departments across the country continue this tradition to ceremonially place a new vehicle into service.
