Water Ceremony

The Water Ceremony or Water Communion is a UU tradition, one that speaks to our interconnectedness with one another, to the totality of life, and to our place on this planet. Whether you are a member of the Bis-Man UU community or a member of the larger community we invite you to share in this beautiful ceremony with us.

Please bring to the service a small amount of water from a place that is special to you, whether it is a lake your family likes to visit, rainwater you collected for your garden, or the tap water in your home that provides you with so very much. It doesn't much matter the source of the water, so long as it holds special meaning for you!

As we prepare for our Water Ceremony, may we hold in our minds and hearts all of those who have helped us find belonging and all of those who we stand with us as we work to build belonging within our communities.
