Printmaking on Tissue Paper Class with Rob Anderson

In this three-hour workshop participants will create several monoprints and/or monotypes using ink and acrylic paint on archival quality tissue paper. Other types of paper will be available as well. The archival tissue is sturdier than regular tissue and can stand up to brushing and the liquids used to create the prints. A variety of techniques and tools will be used to create texture and images. The tissue becomes transparent or somewhat translucent allowing several layers to be laminated together. This technique lends itself to a variety art styles and can easily be utilized by artists of all skill levels.
