Cosmic Curiosity - Be an Aerospace Engineer

Aerospace engineers design and build aircrafts, satellites, missiles and spacecrafts. Without them astronauts wouldn’t get off the ground!

Design your own rocket! Rockets take off by burning fuel, which produces gas that escapes the rocket with force. The force of the gas escaping provides enough thrust to power the rocket upwards and escape the force of gravity pulling it back to Earth.

Can you design a rocket strong enough to escape the force of gravity?

Suitable for ages 4 - 7.

Children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.

This event is free, but places must be booked in advance in the library.
