Join us on Friday, 5th September at 7:00 PM for an unforgettable evening of songs, stories, and celebration as The Auckland Shanty Singers help bring to life the legacy of the Stockton & Darlington Railway – as part of the S&DR200 commemorations.

What’s in Store:
🚂 Engaging songs and stories from the coal mines, through the railways, and to the sea

🎤 A live performance by folk artist Sam Slatcher, sharing authentic songs of the Railway Pioneers.

Starters:
Vegetable soup and Sour Dough
Brussels pate on a bed of lettuce, onion, chutney and toasted sourdough
Main Course:
Railway Rack: Rack of ribs coated in a honey and barbecue sauce,sauté potatoes and salad
Chicken Parmesan: Chicken cooked in a Panko crumb topped with cheese and Bechamel sauce salad and chips. Choose: Traditional, Hot shot or Spanish
Shildon Signal Burger: A spiced chickpea and sweet potato patty topped with cheddar, caramelised onions, and smoky mayo, served in a toasted brioche bun with chips and salad.
Dessert:
The Station Master's Sundae: Layers of vanilla and chocolate ice cream, crushed biscuits, chocolate sauce and whipped cream finished with a cherry
The Locomotion Cheesecake: Chocolate biscuit “track” topped with creamy vanilla cheesecake filling swirled with caramel topped with crushed honeycomb “coal.
