Charities On The Night:
West Midlands Palestine Solidarity Campaign: an organisation which stands up for the human rights of the Palestinian people. For decades we have worked to raise awareness of the ethnic cleansing, discrimination and oppression being committed against Palestinians by the Israeli government. Mandela said that none of us are free until Palestine is free as he sought to bring us together in defence of human rights and in an attempt to find a peaceful solution to the conflict. Since he and Desmond Tutu attacked the apartheid Israeli regime the situation has deteriorated and it has now been announced, by the United Nations, that Israel is committing a genocide against the Palestinian people - they need us now more than ever. As well as raising awareness in our community we offer practical support for those suffering in Palestine- currently we are raising funds to provide water tankers for those without water in Gaza. Taking action together we believe we can stop the killing and bring justice and peace to all the people of this troubled land.
RSVP: at RSVP, we work towards a world free from sexual violence and abuse. For individuals we make that happen. We support people who have been subjected to sexual violence and abuse to thrive and enjoy a future of hope and confidence. We boldly stand with survivors and challenge victim-blaming attitudes.
