The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) return to Hockley Social Club this December for a festive edition of Symphonic Sessions — bringing the joy of the season to one of Birmingham’s most atmospheric venues.
Sit back, relax and enjoy beautiful live arrangements of your favourite Christmas tunes, performed by CBSO musicians in an intimate, candlelit setting. Expect festive classics reimagined with symphonic flair, the warmth of live strings, and a night full of Christmas cheer.
Pair the performance with award-winning street food from some of Hockley’s finest vendors — including juicy patties from Filthy Burgers, Southeast Asian street eats from Hawker Dan, indulgent desserts from Urban Cheesecake, and authentic Caribbean flavours from West Midlands Jerk Centre. Plus, enjoy a drink (or three) from our well-stocked bar.
