From the streets of Nashville to the heart of Motown, Edwin Starr made an unforgettable mark on soul and disco music. With early hits like “Agent Double-O Soul” and “Twenty-Five Miles,” he quickly became a force in the industry. But it was “War”—his powerful No.1 protest anthem—that cemented his status as a legend.

In 1983, Edwin made the UK his home, becoming a beloved figure in the Northern Soul scene. Performing across the country, he brought unmatched energy to every stage, backed by his incredible band, The Team.

Though Edwin passed in 2003, his music lives on. The Team, now led by his brother Angelo Starr, continues to bring his timeless sound to life, performing his greatest hits and classic Motown anthems.
