Green Libraries Week: Family Seed Library Session—Birken-Seed-Head Library

Join us for a seed event like no other as we celebrate our new Seed Library at Birkenhead Central Library!

Learn what a seed library is, how you can collect and preserve seeds from your favourite plants and how to grow them. Bring some seeds of your own or swap some with what we have stocked already.

This will feature a talk by a local seed saving expert.

Bring along your dried Halloween pumpkin seeds ready to store and package up ready for planting next summer. We will also bring microscopes to view what seeds look like, how they germinate and grow and why they are all different shapes and sizes.

This event is for families with children aged 7+

If parking, please use the car park on Balls Road East opposite the library if possible.
