Our next guided walk is taking place next week - Thursday 21st August at Caffe Velo Verde
Warm up for the Summer bank holiday weekend, with a guided walk from Caffe Velo Verde
On this walk, we will be doing an 8 mile loop down to the River Trent and back, which is one of the cafe’s promoted walks.
The walk will leave from Caffe Velo Verde following public footpaths on a loop around Screveton, through Car Colston over the A46, down to the Trent and returning via Kneeton. We will be taking in the beautiful local countryside, enjoying the joys of nature, a natter and generally giving our minds & bodies a welcome uplift. The walk will be circa 7.5/8 miles with a couple of steep inclines and lead at a medium pace.
The walk will head off from the cafe at 10am, (arriving back at the cafe between 13:00 & 13:30) so a great opportunity to arrive at the cafe for breakfast beforehand and/or a scrumptious lunch afterwards. Please ensure you have plenty of water on board and maybe a snack from the cafe to keep you going. The walk will be lead by Tim, one of our regular walking ‘porridge eaters’!
There will be no charge for the guided walk, but any donations to FarmEco Community Care Farm would be very much appreciated.
