Intention: To birth a spirit-filled instrument in a ceremonial way, infused with your prayers and life force.

โข How rattles are used in shamanic traditions for healing, journeying, and energy work.
โข Choosing an intention for your rattleโs purpose.

โข Selecting materials, gourd, or other natural vessel.
โข Cutting, and shaping.
โข Choosing symbolic fillings โ seeds, stones, beans, herbs, crystals โ to embody your intention.
โข Sewing or binding the head and preparing it to dry.

โข Adding feathers, beads, shells, or natural dyes.
โข Infusing each addition with prayer and intention.

โข Blessing with the four elements โ air (smoke), fire (candle), water (sprinkle), earth (touch).
