Repo Man

This September, we have THREE staff birthday films coming to Art House Cinema and Pub, and one of them is for Dai Williams, our incredibly cool shift lead and volunteer organizer, who has chosen to treat you all to a special screening of Alex Cox's fantastic 1984 cult classic, REPO MAN, playing Wednesday, September 24th!
A compelling and artistic criticism of Reagan-era capitalism, Cold War paranoia, and the act of profiting from others' struggles, REPO MAN is an extremely entertaining film that blends comedy and intrigue to tell a story of the working class rat race viewed through a cynical punk lens! There's really nothing else out there quite like it, and it's easy to see why it has remained a beloved cult favorite for more than 40 years! Don't disappoint Dai- come and see REPO MAN!
After getting fired from his dead end grocery store job, young punk Otto coincidentally lands a job as repo man, repossessing overdue vehicles with seasoned repo veteran Bud. Otto quickly gets put into a number of intense encounters with outlandish characters, rival repo men, and a CIA plot concerning a glowing '64 Chevy with a huge bounty and radioactive alien corpses in the trunk!
