Holden Evening Prayer

Join us in the Billings First Congregational Church sanctuary for Holden Evening Prayer. We will meet at 7:15pm on the third Tuesday of every month. 310 N. 27th St.

Holden Evening Prayer is a traditional setting of evening prayer set to music. It was written in 1985-86 by Marty Haugen, the musician-in-residence at Holden Village, a Lutheran retreat center in Washington state. This setting of evening prayer follows the traditional form while using contemporary and inclusive language. Even if you do not read music, Holden Evening Prayer is easy to learn.
