We’re thrilled to announce that environmental thought leader Heather White will be the keynote speaker for the 3rd Annual Billings Climate Week, a project of the Billings Climate Coalition, taking place at Petro Hall on the MSU Billings campus on September 14, 2025.
Heather White is the author of 60 Days to a Greener Life: Ease Eco-Anxiety Through Joyful Daily Action (HarperCollins, 2024) and One Green Thing: Discover Your Hidden Power to Help Save the Planet (HarperCollins, 2022). Through her nonprofit OneGreenThing, she helps people transform eco-anxiety into joyful action—empowering each person to discover their climate “superpower.”
A nationally recognized conservation and policy expert, Heather’s career includes:
President & CEO of Yellowstone Forever (raised $50M+; $18M in grants to Yellowstone)
Executive Director of the Environmental Working Group
Senate legal counsel and Gore campaign staffer
Adjunct law professor and nonprofit strategist
Her media presence spans Good Morning America, NBC News, Teen Vogue, and The Guardian, and she’s been honored by Green Building & Design and MindBodyGreen as a top leader in sustainability and wellness.
The keynote begins at 6:30 PM, preceded by local organizations tabling to showcase climate action and sustainability projects across the region.
