Praise for Dilapitatia

“'I can sing two songs, one a lullaby, one a M**der ballad,'” Kelly Gray writes in Dilapitatia, a book that investigates fantasy and construct as cure for ruin, for dilapidation. The voice in this astonishing book startles with wisdom, and sparkles with lyricism, and doesn’t take a single prisoner." - James Allen Hall, author of Romantic Comedy

Dilapitatia is defined in the poet’s opening, prefatory poem as Disorder Class: Obsession, and there is an artful obsession in these poems. Gray’s mastery of imagery is on vivid display in a voice resplendent with the tones and textures of the natural world.." - Subhaga Crystal Bacon, author of the Lambda Literary Finalist, Transitory
