Rural Readers Bookish Summer Social 📚

Rural Readers book club invites you to a bookish social on Monday 18th August! 📚

Our book clubs are on a Monday, which is the same day that the Tally Ho! have their pizza oven lit so we thought it would be a great opportunity this month for a book club/bookish social with optional food! New members are very welcome. 😊

Our book of the month is The Lost Daughter by Elena Ferrante (140 pages) or alternatively you can BYOB. (Bring your own book.)☺️

This Italian novel is hopefully the perfect read to pair well with good company, beautiful weather and of course pizzas! 🍕

If you would like to buy a pizza whilst at book club then please arrive a little earlier to allow time to order one from The Tally Ho! as they are freshly cooked in the pizza oven outside. If you don’t think you’ll be able to manage a whole one then you could always share one with a friend! There are chips/fries, cheesy chips, sweet potato fries and garlic bread also available to purchase if you didn’t fancy a pizza. 😋
