Fungi, Foraging and Autumn Fronds in Mixed Media Workshop

Returning this autumn by popular request, Emmeline Webb has put together a fantastic two-day autumnal workshop based around autumn colours, fungi, foraged fruits and foliage, and seasonal treasures. It will be a colourful and creative weekend, exploring and experimenting with mixed media techniques, combining materials such as paint, collage and fabrics to create a textured work of art.

The first day will be spent seeking inspiration from the woodlands and garden and making creating mixed media collage sheets, using acrylics and watercolours, pushing mixed media methods and introducing you to new ways of making textures and layers. These will be your resources for the second day, once they have had time to dry overnight.

Day two is all about cutting, collaging and creating! You will also be able to include some drawing and illustration as you pull together your final piece of work to frame and take home ready to hang.

Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a beginner, this hands on, friendly and artistically playful workshop will spark your creativity and offer up fresh inspiration. All drawn from nature and the natural world, we will be honing in on autumn colours, foraged treasures and seasonal interest.
