Four-Week Life Drawing Course

Learn the key skills for life drawing on this four-week course with artist Franca Westaway. Franca will give whole group and one-to-one tuition, advice and support to develop your observational and drawing skills, such as using line and tone to explore shape and form, and simple checking techniques to get to grips with scale, proportion and viewpoints.

Each week we will work with a life model, use timed poses and a variety of different materials and techniques including pencil drawing, charcoal, ink and other suggested or self-directed approaches. This course is an excellent starting point for observational drawing of any kind and for those wanting to develop their drawing/life-drawing practice.

Beginners are welcome and materials are provided, so this is a great way to build skills and confidence in a small supportive group.
