Apple Pruning Workshop

Unravel the mysteries of apple pruning during this practical demonstration.

We will look at formative pruning of young apple trees and pruning of established trees that have been well maintained. We will discuss summer pruning and see how it is used to maintain our trained cordons, espaliers and fans, then compare it to winter pruning of our traditional orchard trees.

Please note this demonstration does not cover renovation of neglected trees.
