🔥 Święto krótkiego kina, 19. Międzynarodowy Festiwal Filmów Krótkometrażowych ŻUBROFFKA, odbędzie się w Białymstoku i na Podlasiu od 3 do 7 grudnia 2025 roku!
O nagrody festiwalu powalczy ponad 100 filmów, wyłonionych spośród ponad 1300 zgłoszeń z całego świata. Do zdobycia jest Grand Prix i nagrody w konkursach polskich (Fabuła_pl, Animacja_pl, Dokument_pl), międzynarodowych (Okno na Wschód, Cały ten Świat) i o formule otwartej (Dzieciaki, Młodzi, Music video, Na skraju i Midnight shorts). Zostaną też nagrodzone: najlepsza animacja, dokument, fabuła, zdjęcia i muzyka. Nagrody przyznają też polscy i zagraniczni dziennikarze, Młode Jury, czyli przedstawiciele uczniów i studentów oraz festiwalowa publiczność, która przyzna Dzikiego Żubra.
Oprócz pokazów konkursowych w programie są także pokazy specjalne, śniadania filmowe, koncerty, wystawy, spotkania oraz warsztaty.
🦬 Idea tegorocznej ŻUBROFFKI
Świat się radykalizuje. Rysuje granice grubą kreską. Motto „szybciej, wyżej, mocniej” wrosło w nas, jakby było naszym własnym. Świat się radykalizuje, a my czujemy, że radykalizuje się nie w tym obszarze, co trzeba.
Podczas tegorocznej ŻUBROFFKI zaryzykujemy wyprawę do miejsca, w którym rysuje się kres cywilizacji, po to, by przesunąć trochę granicę – tam, gdzie widok jest lepszy, a na horyzoncie rysuje się nowy początek.
Zmieniamy perspektywę. Chcemy, by nasz festiwal stał się nośnikiem opowieści o tym, jak nie brać się ciągle w garść, nie spinać, nie forsować – nośnikiem przekazu o potrzebie przyjrzenia się sobie i tym, którzy są blisko. O potrzebie zauważenia.
Na początku grudnia wyślemy na ulice specjalny Bisonmobil. Zapniemy pasy, uspokoimy myśli, wyrównamy oddech i utrzymamy idealne tempo, czyli takie, które poza skupieniem na celu podróży pozwala też na podziwianie widoków. Jedźcie z nami, by posmakować jedynej w swoim rodzaju festiwalowej energii! Pamiętajcie też, że w każdym z nas kryje się żubr, który mimo spokojnej natury umie też pokazać rogi.
Jeśli się radykalizować, to tylko we wzajemnym zaciekawieniu. Jeśli działać szybciej – niech to będzie pośpiech ku przygodzie. Jeśli wznosić się wyżej – to na wyżyny empatii. Nasza moc nie jest agresywna, jej źródło leży w przekonaniu, że jedyna droga ku równowadze prowadzi przez oswojenie niepokoju przed tym, co inne, niezrozumiałe, nowe, pozornie obce.
💥 Do stworzenia czołówki oraz głównego projektu graficznego tegorocznego festiwalu zaprosiliśmy brytyjskiego animatora Joego Taylora, a identyfikację wizualną w oparciu o jego koncepcję tradycyjnie przygotowała graficzka Izabela Sroka.
Joe Taylor to brytyjski animator i ilustrator mieszkający na co dzień w Berlinie. Jego wizualny świat jest surrealistyczny, zabawny, ale bywa też niepokojący. Na początku jako grafik współpracował z klientami z całego świata przy projektach animacji i ilustracji, ostatnio tworzy głównie teledyski, gify, logotypy i animacje edukacyjne. Lubi też eksperymentować z projektowaniem dźwięku i gier.

🔥 A celebration of short cinema, the 19th ŻUBROFFKA International Short Film Festival will take place in Bialystok and Podlasie from December 3 to 7, 2025!
Over 100 films, selected from more than 1,300 submissions from around the world, will compete for the festival's awards. The Grand Prix and prizes in Polish (Fiction_pl, Animation_pl, Documentary_pl), international (Eastward Window, Whole Wide World) and open (Kids, Youth, Music Video, On the Edge and Midnight Shorts). Awards will also be given for best animation, documentary, feature film, cinematography, and music. Awards will also be given by Polish and foreign journalists, the Young Jury, consisting of representatives of school and university students, and the festival audience, which will award the Wild Bison.
In addition to the competition screenings, the program also includes special screenings, film breakfasts, concerts, exhibitions, meetings, and workshops.
🦬 The idea behind this year's ŻUBROFFKA
The world is radicalizing. Draws the boundaries with a thick line again. The motto “faster, higher, stronger” has grown into us as if it were our own. The world is radicalizing, and we feel that it is radicalizing in the wrong way.
As part of the 19th edition of the International Film Festival ŻUBROFFKA, we will embark on a risky journey to the place where the end times are close at hand, to shift the boundary a millimeter or two – to where the view is better, and a new beginning looms on the horizon.
We’re shifting perspectives, so that our festival can become a vehicle for stories about how not to constantly pull yourself together, cease to tense up, not overexert yourself – a platform for communicating the need to examine yourself and those close to you. About the need to be noticed.
In early December, we’ll send a special Bisonmobile out onto the streets. We’ll fasten our seatbelts, calm our minds, our breathing even, and maintain the perfect pace, one that, in addition to focusing on the destination, allows us to admire the views as well. Come with us to experience the unique festival energy! And remember! There’s a bison hidden within each of us, and despite our calm nature, we can also show off our horns.
If to radicalize, radicalize only in mutual curiosity. Going faster – let it be in a rush towards adventure. If go higher – go to the heights of empathy. Our power is not aggressive, its source lies in the belief that the only path to balance leads through taming anxiety – of what is different, incomprehensible, new, seemingly alien.
💥 We invited British animator Joe Taylor to create the opening theme and main graphic design for this year’s festival, and the visual identification based on his concept was, like in previous editions, prepared by graphic designer Izabela Sroka.
Joe Taylor is a British animator and illustrator based in Berlin. His visual world is surreal, funny and sometimes disturbing. Originally a graphic designer, Joe has worked with clients around the world on animation and illustration projects. Recently he has been enjoying working on music videos, gifs, logos and educational animations, as well as experimenting with sound design and game design.
