This event is a fantastic community event, celebrate Mother's day, treat anyone special or get a group together and catch up with friends for a lovely afternoon tea.
Served by our fantastic volunteers, you can sit down, enjoying homemade afternoon tea brought to you on our beautiful vintage china 3 tier stands. Throughout the event browse a few stalls, play our fun games to help us reach our fundraising goals and enjoy our hospitality with a smile. It's a sight to behold and a wonderful feel good atmosphere whilst helping us raise money to support our small village school.
Included in the ticket price is homemade scones, sandwiches, sweet treats such as brownies, millionaires shortbread, cakes, macarons, sausage rolls, quiches and tea or coffee. All welcome - children under 3 free.
A feel good community event it's about sharing food, sharing moments and having fun all in aid of a very good cause - The Friends of Lockington School support the local small village primary School.
If we've sold out of sit down places, or you can't join us don't worry! Following on from the success of 2025 we have our takeout boxes available again - please book yours online to collect on the day from 12pm.
On the side we have some lovely local stalls, tombolas, fundraising games, raffle with great prizes and some great local produce - cash preferred.
There is a bar available to buy additional drinks including Prosecco and cans
We can accommodate different dietary requirements just let us know in advance once you have bought tickets. Please note most of our food will be homemade so we cannot guarantee there will be no cross contamination including macarons so do not advise the event for those highly allergic to nuts.
