The red wall of L’Chayim Delicatessen in downtown Beulah is alive with a multitude of bright and colorful photos showcasing the beauty of all seasons in Benzie County by photographer Donna Pendergast of DoPe Photography. You can meet her at a celebration of her work taking place at a wine and cheese party on the night of Christmas Magic in downtown Beulah L’Chayim on Saturday, December 13 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. The event is open and free to the public.
In a bio from Donna, she states, “I am a retired, but actively licensed attorney, living in Honor in Benzie County. She spent 35 years as a criminal prosecutor, but now has retired to enjoy the more beautiful things in life. Her passion is the outdoors and helping others see the beauty that surrounds us here in Benzie County. Her photographs seek to show the magnificent landscape that encircles us in all seasons.”
Hit The Wall is an exciting opportunity for artists to submit entries for consideration to be showcased and featured in a “Meet the Artist” evening reception hosted by L’Chayim. Hit the Wall is open to all artists. If you’d like more information on this event, visit the deli, contact Julie at 231.871.0601 or email
