NATURAL STONE PRESS -
F - 86 & 146; M- 223 & 258.
1. Athlete will have 60 seconds to clean and press (1) rep of both stones.
2. Athlete must complete lighter weight before moving up to heavier weight.
3. Athlete will be given a start command from the judge.
4. Athlete will get a down command when ankles, knees, hips, and elbows are all locked out, head is through, and feet are parallel. Split Jerks are allowed, but feet must be brought back to parallel to receive down command.
5. Rep must be completed before the time expires.
6. No resting on your head or tree topping.
7. Must be a controlled motion to bring stone to pad.
8. Equipment allowed- belts, wrist wraps, knee and elbow sleeves, grip shirts/shorts, chalk, and liquid chalk. Foot covering required. All other equipment not allowed unless approved.
HAMMER/PUMPKIN HOLD
1. Rules: Head to head event. Athletes will hold a hammer or similar implement straight out in front of their bodies for as long as possible. Arms must be locked out and the hammer must be held at a specified height in front of the athlete. Back & shoulders must remain connected to wall. Whoever holds the hammer to designated height the longest wins this event.
MEDLEY
2 Lanes run side-by-side with 75sec total to complete:
1. 75’ Farmer’s MAZE w/2 turns —Females-150#;Males-220#
2. 25’ Husafel — Females-175#; Males-250#
3. 25’ Drag— Females-175#;Males-250#
Athlete will have start command. Must stay in designated lane. Unlimited drops allowed. Everything is picked from the ground. Equipment allowed chalk, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, belt, and wrist wraps. Foot covering required. NO TACKY. NO STRAPS. No other equipment allowed unless pre-approved.
STRONGMAN CORN HOLE
1. Each athlete will be given three attempts to toss a strongman “throw bag” into a giant (3’ x 6’) custom-built cornhole board.
2. Female athletes will throw their bags from a line 12’ from the end of the board. Using 15#, 20# and 25# throw bags.
3. Male athletes will throw their bags from a line 15 feet from the end of the board. Using 30#, 35# and 40# throw bags.
4. Each athlete will have one minute to complete all three throws. If the athlete attempts their third and final toss as time expires, the attempt will still count if the bag is in the air and out of the athlete’s hand(s).
5. Athletes may toss the bag using a double overhand or a single-hand grip.
6. Athlete’s feet must stay behind the line. If an athlete’s foot or any part of their foot crosses the line, the toss will not count and the athlete will be given a “zero” for that attempt. Athletes will not be allowed to make another attempt with that bag. They must move on to the next heaviest bag.
7. A bag that goes through the hole is worth 3 points.
8. A bag that lands on the board and stays there is worth 1 point, but if a bag hits the board and then slides off the board (either partially or completely) no points will be given. The bag must remain on the board.
9. A bag that lands on the ground or hits the board, but remains partially on the ground is worth 0 points.
10. Equipment allowed: Chalk, belt, elbow sleeves, and wrist wraps. NO TACKY OR GLOVES. All other equipment not allowed unless pre-approved.
