The stage is set for something special. Although school just started, the Bethpage Masquers Guild is already deep into rehearsals for its long-awaited reunion show.
This homecoming will bring together performers spanning more than five decades of Masquers history, from the 1970s to today. Alumni will share the spotlight with current students, and you can be sure there will not be a dry eye in the house - just check out this amazing clip of current senior Abby Scully rehearsing a duet with her mom Colleen ’92!
The one-night-only event doubles as a fundraiser for the Masquers Guild and the Bethpage Educational Foundation. Every performer and crew member is volunteering their time to support these organizations and ensure that arts programs continue to thrive in Bethpage.
The timing couldn’t be better — National Arts in Education Week begins Monday. What better way to honor the importance of the arts in schools than by filling the Bethpage High School Auditorium for a night of music?
