This April will mark Matt’s 5th year running Tough Ruck 26.2 Boston — a marathon completed with a weighted rucksack to honor America’s Fallen Military & First Responders. For Matt, this race is more than a marathon; it carries a different kind of atmosphere and meaning.

“Any marathon is always special but this has a different atmosphere. I'm excited to run it again to support funds to fallen military and law enforcement officers families."

Tough Ruck is an elite group of 1,000 athletes who humbly carry the names of the Fallen so they are never forgotten, while raising critical funds for warriors and their families. Military Friends Foundation — the official charity of Tough Ruck Nation — ensures these families receive support in their greatest time of need.

To help Matt reach his fundraising goal, a portion of every beer sold during this event will be donated directly to the cause.
