Billed as the best unsigned band of the East Coast in the mid-1980s, now streamlined to six members. With new tunes and the best of their great originals from the 1980s, the band has added some classic funk, reggae, soul, R&B, and rock & roll covers. The Family features Joe Davies on saxes and vocals, Pete Fluck on saxes, harmonica, and vocals, Jimmy Meyer on guitar and vocals, Julie Kaye on vocals, Bobby Soul on bass guitar and vocals, and Kim Ostrander on the drums.
