Diane Hartzell, Soup for the Soles band leader and caller, will lead Valley Contras' own Soup for the Soles community band with perhaps as many as a dozen musicians packed onto our small stage!!! Our Sound professor Bob Smith will be working the mixer!
No partner needed. Beginners welcome. All dances are taught by the caller and danced to live music.
Contra Dance Instruction for new dancers at 7 p.m.
Contra Dance 7:30-10:30 p.m.
Admission: Sliding scale: $8 (students or low-income individuals), $15 (friends) $20+ (supporters), accepting cash, check or paypal
Children aged 12 and under are admitted for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
1. VACCINES AND MASKS are optional at this time. Vaccinations are encouraged but not required.
2. BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE. We will have our yellow jug with water available but no cups.
3. SNACKS ARE WELCOME and encouraged at intermission. Bring finger food to share with other dancers.
