DATES:
3 Nights in Clarens
Departure Friday the 3rd October for 3 nights stay in Clarens and departure Sunday the 5th or Monday the 6th October.
(School Close for Holiday that Friday the 3rd October)

Friday the 3rd October
Convoy drive to Clarens on 3 Different Routes shown below.
The drive in Convoy is the Highlight of BeetleManiacs events.
Friday night open to go anywhere, support restaurant's in town.
Braai etc.. Late evening Open Bomb fire at location to be confirmed for any of our BeetleManiacs on register that wishes to join.
Saturday the 4th October
We will meet "ALL BeetleManiacs" from different Provinces at around 10am at Highlands Brew just outside Town to get some amazing Photos of the Bugs with Spectacular Scenery Joined by Maluti FM and Cluny Animal Trust. 12:30 - 1pm We will drive around Town Square at Midday, find parking's, display our BUGS to Public to see while we spend time supporting local shops, Restaurants and enjoy time with BeetleManiacs in many Groups.
Saturday evening our Main event,
The Hippie Bug Festival Party
is for our BeetleManiacs on REGISTER for this event ONLY
and will be Closed to the Public.
location is confirmed and will be announced to BeetleManiacs on Register soon. Live Band and Braai. Walking distance to many accommodations in Town meaning you don't need to drive.
Sunday the 5th October
Morning drive out to Golden Gate National Park for spectacular Scenery of the Berg, Amazing Sand Stone formations and Nature,
Sunday afternoon spent at Leisure to do any of the many activities around town, departing back home for those that wish to leave that Sunday to return to work Monday morning.
Monday the 6th October
Departure Home back in groups of convoys.

This covers BeetleManiacs Registration Admin, Shortfall on Hippie Party event cost & Host
Hippie Party Event Cost:
> R100 per person entry for all
> BeetleManiacs Legends & Hall of Fame Members only are
Free of charge - their event fee of R100 each will be paid for by BeetleManiacs from BM Registration fees (Shortfall Mentioned).
This Party event Fee covers Party Location Hosts, Band Studio and professional Artist for our Hippie Fest Party Saturday night.

Majority will leave that Friday morning and our Routes are planned for leaving that Friday morning

Via N3 and R26 via Reitz & Bethlehem
Route 2 (Orange Route):
NW, FS, NC, WC, EC to Clarens
Via N1, N5 via Winburg & Bethlehem
Route 3 (Green Route):
KZN to Clarens
via N3, R74 & R712 via Winterton & Golden Gate
Any Travelers from other regions that wish to Join the convoys will need to make arrangements to meet on Route or to leave your locations a day or two earlier to join in on the Blue, Red or Green Route Plans to travel with convoys to Clarens

ACCOMMODATION:
We like everyone to enjoy the same location, However with our numbers being to large that's unrealistic.
We will however be at the Heart of Clarens Town and many different accommodations will be available close to each other.
Options for Camping, Backpacking, Self Catering Units, Guest Houses and Lodges are all possible.
All Accommodation to be Paid directly to Accommodation Hosts at own expense. We will assist on this from Monday when we open registration.
WORDS OF ENCOURAGMENT:
Your Classic Volkswagens can achieve a drive like this if well maintained and serviced. We will have some extra parts and assistance with Independent Suppliers or Mechanical Services traveling with us (Fees Charged by them for Repairs or Parts). Traveling with our groups and convoys gives you ease at mind and buddies to help.
