BEER AND BEACONS!

Join us for Beers & Beacons at rek’-lis! What began as a group of friends—including brewery owner Ian—getting together to prep for a trip with a casual but formal beacon practice has grown into a chance for the whole rek’-lis community to dial in their skills. We’ll be sipping inside, practicing outside, and keeping the vibe low-key but meaningful. Beacon practice alone isn’t avalanche education—think of it like teaching a new driver to fill out an accident report instead of teaching them how to drive—but it is an essential piece of the puzzle. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable with your beacon and with each other, and to give you a fun, supportive place to sharpen the skills you bring into the backcountry.
