5:30PM: Welcome & short words on book bans
5:45-6:15PM: Silent Reading time, either a printed book or an audio book. or a graphic novel!
6:20-7PM- Talk about what you were reading and have some fun working on a collage about banned books. You may either take your piece home or have it displayed at the store for the rest of banned book week, your choice!
Light snacks and beverages provided. you are welcome to bring your own!
All participants receive a FREE audiobook copy of "Lula Dean’s Little Library of Banned Books"

You can choose ANY book to read at silent reading book club. If you're listening to an audiobook, please use headphones. You can select any book, but why not get started on one of our book club books? October: The Cabin at the End of the World - Paul Tremblay (fiction: apocalyptic horror) or November: Faltas: Letters to Everyone in My Hometown Who Isn't My Rapist (nonfiction biography) December is our year in review, where you get a second crack at all the books you didn't finish earlier in the year!
